The PTA committee consist of the office of Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary & Treasurer and 10 other members. We are a registered charity with the Annual General Meeting being held in October.
All parents with children at Brightside Primary School are automatically members of the the PTA. There are always lots of things for parents to help with, such as refreshments, buying items for the Christmas Mini Bazaar, helping at the Fete, getting raffle prizes etc. We welcome any new ideas so please do come along to the meetings and support your children and your school.
Recently we have purchased the school's minibus as well as a visualiser for every classroom.
We are currently fundraising to update the school library provision. This will mean purchasing more books for the library as well as software and hardware to enable pupils to scan books in and out... just like Billericay Library!
The next PTA meeting is Monday 20th February 2012 at 8pm in the Staff Room.
