Unnamed items are kept at the school office until they are claimed.
At the end of each half term, any unclaimed items are recycled or donated.
***
No jewellery should be worn at school.
These items often get lost causing much upset to the child; it is far better to leave them safely at home.
Children who have pierced ears can only wear stud earrings and these have to be removed for PE.
We are not able to tape over earrings, so if they cannot be removed your child will not be able to take part in PE lessons until they can do so themselves, as we are not permitted to do this for them.
Please ensure that your child has suitable footwear, as outlined above.
No trainers, heels or boots are permitted as part of our school uniform.
They need to offer plenty of support.
Your child needs to be able to move around safely in them and ideally your child should be able to fasten and unfasten their own shoes.
***
Children are not allowed to wear make-up to school.
This includes false eyelashes, nail varnish or false nails or extensions, such as gel or acrylics.
We ask that haircuts are appropriate and no extreme colours are used.
Long hair should be tied back, and children should only wear small hair ties, bows and clips that are in the school colours.
Long hair must be tied back for PE!
